  Pleasant shopping centre with all the standard high street shops. Plenty of food options if you like fast food but only one restaurant (Cosmo) and a pub for a proper meal.

  Rude and what I would call abusive security staff that seem to like pushing small kids around or whoever interacts with them. Seen some disturbing things over the years going through Frenchgate, security using aggressive tactics that shouldn’t be allowed in a free Britain, but I guess that’s just the mentality of the place? feel free to google Frenchgate security abuse to get a feel of what I mean. Anyways, if you want good places to shop and a relaxed atmosphere, maybe look at Meadowhall. The shops in Frenchgate are alright and there are a few choices, but I would personally avoid it if possible just because of the atmosphere and the above mentioned issues. Happy shopping.
